In the Nishikata Laboratory, we study biological phenomena from three complementary perspectives: developmental biology, cell biology, and molecular biology. We use diverse experimental systems (ascidians, mice, cultured cells, and 3D skin models) to uncover how cells respond appropriately to external stimuli and intracellular signals, and to clarify the underlying molecular mechanisms.

Three perspectives: Developmental / Cellular / Molecular biology
